Megaman DLN-001

In the year 20XX...

Rock was an advanced hyper logic robot created by the kind-hearted Dr.Thomas Light, designed to be an aid in his laboratory, to assist with performing basic functions the Dr. could not perform himself. As time went on, Dr.Light used Rock more and more for further involved and complex robotics experiments, and Rock would soon become something even greater, especially after he intercepted a transmission sent from the homicidally insane Dr. Albert Wily to Dr.Light, who had menacing plans and was set on global domination. Rock was determined to fight against the evil Wily and convinced the good Dr.Light to let him face down his dark nemesis, but Rock could not do it fitted as a mere laboratory gopher. Rock convinced Dr.Light to upgrade his equipment, becoming Megaman-The Blue Bomber.

I never felt comfortable with my original "movie" Megaman design kanefinger1939.deviantart.com/… I felt that the heavy shoulder pads and chest armor was just too much. It just doesn't make him feel like Classic Megaman, It looks more 'X' like (not that I don't like X, but he's just not classic MM, which is what I was going for) though I was going for a little 'Legends' flair at the time, I think. It was a conversation with that really made me want to redo that armor and I'm glad I did, I'm finally happy with how this design came out I finished it a while back with Prisma colored pencils, I've just been busy as all hell and haven't had time to upload yet, but I've wanted to put up this version for a while now so here ya go!
